Enjoy the peace and tranquility of spending the night in a historical church.
Experience champing with a unique and unusual stay with the Churches Conservation Trust.
Guests will have the whole church to themselves, with a chance to enjoy both the historical wonder of the building and the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
The church of St Mary is located in Longsleddale in Cumbria. The historical church dates back to 1864. It is not a CCT church but is offered by the Churches Trust for Cumbria. Longsleddale was in fact the inspiration for Greendale, the functional home of Postman Pat (and his black and white cat!)
For an additional cost of £10 we have a range of breakfast options for you; from smiley Farmer Tim arriving at your door with a farmhouse feast like you’ve never seen before, to a full English in a nearby hostelry – or you may wish to sizzle your own sausages and leave the washing up for someone else – either way, we’ve got it covered.
If you book before 1st March 2017 you can enjoy a 10% discount.
