We are situated in a beautiful environment with a vibrant African culture. We pride ourselves in having a friendly family atmosphere, great staff and good food. We believe in having a sustainable business which benefits local people. Boboi is a great place for exploring with Tailor made tours throughout Gambia, and Cassamance.
We are in a palm forest right beside a huge stretch of unspoiled beach washed by Atlantic waves. Our guests like to unwind by sitting in our bar with a cold beer watching the sun setting into the sea!
Boboi Beach Lodge is the first and best Eco-Lodge in the Kartong area. We started in 1999 and have built a reputation as a fun place to visit, where you can enjoy a wonderful and unspoiled environment and relax in peace and quiet. Boboi Beach Lodge is listed in all the main holiday guides, such as Lonely Planet, where it is called a “Gambian Gem” and highly recommended.
Boboi, as it’s known locally, is set amongst the palm trees where the bush meets the sea, right beside a huge expanse of deserted beach. It is a beautiful and unspoiled place and we intend to keep it that way. Boboi Beach Lodge is an eco-tourism project where the emphasis is on providing our guests with a unique African experience where you set the agenda. Our aim was to create a holiday destination that combined relaxation, exploration, and a warm friendly atmosphere.
