An enchanting treetop adventure awaits you at Living Room Tree Houses.
With 6 incredible and unique tree houses this break is sure to be one full of magical memories.
Located in the heart of the Welsh Mountains in a hidden valley the tree houses embrace the natural beauty of the wonderful woodlands that they seamlessly blend into.
The tree houses are suitable for families, couples or single travellers. You will all leave wishing your time in the tree houses would last forever.
The six tree houses are:
Lofty, Gwdy Hw (pron. Goody Hoo), Bryn Meurig Bach and Ty Mawr (Timmy), Pen y Bryn
The tree houses are remote, and a long way apart within a huge and lovely woodland.
They are deep in the heart of nature, romantic and exciting! They are really high in the tree. Gwdy Hw is 30ft, Lofty and Timmy are 25ft and Bryn Meurig is slightly lower (15ft) and ideal for families with younger children
We have arrivals on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Guests usually stay for 2 nights, although we offer an extra night for free if folks arrive on a Sunday.
Each tree house can accommodate a family of 4 easily, with an extra child bed on request. Each tree house has a luxurious double bed and fold down bunk beds.
With specially designed wood burning stoves at the heart of the tree house your accommodation is the perfect temperature, no matter how cold it is outside. This means we can open all year round; our tree houses are fully insulated offering a cosy experience.
The wood burning stove also heats the water that falls from the spring water shower and has a large hot plate to cook on.
As there is no electricity at your tree house we provide solar lanterns, lamps and tea lights. You have an ensuite Swedish compost toilet (one of which is accessed over a rope bridge!)
We supply linen but please bring your own bath towels. We recommend you bring clothes and boots to enjoy the great unspoilt outdoors that is right on your doorstep.
As your tree house experience is self catering you might want to stock up on some food before you come. The tree houses have a fully functioning kitchen with gas hob, cooking utensils and a basic fridge.
A car can be driven to within 400 yards of the tree house site, after which some fairly flat walking on grass is required.
The tree houses have spiral staircases as their primary access – please make clear at the time of booking if this is likely to cause difficulty.
We are unable to allow dogs to stay at the tree houses - we are an organic sheep farm!
